    Create a playback session

    DRM-X resolves the active package, signs a short-lived DRM License Token, and returns the correct manifest and license route.

    Enforce on the device

    The platform CDM exchanges its native challenge for a policy-bound license and starts protected playback.

Does DRM-X replace my customer database?

No. Your authenticated backend remains the source of truth for access. DRM-X receives, signs, and enforces the bounded playback decision.

Can one protected title play on every platform?

One content identity can publish matching DASH/CENC and HLS/CBCS manifests. Each device uses its supported DRM and the registered manifest for that DRM.

Where are DRM credentials stored?

Environment credentials remain in your server or secret manager. Browsers and mobile applications receive only a short-lived playback response.
